Ventiva Expands Its State-of-the-Art Advanced Thermal Testing Capabilities
FREMONT, Calif.–February 1, 2024–Ventiva®, a leading company in active cooling solutions for electronic devices, has substantially advanced its thermal testing capabilities. Located in Fremont, Calif., Ventiva has doubled the size of its facility, establishing a customer-focused laboratory equipped with the latest technology to validate reliability and test and measure performance.
The new facility will accelerate adoption of the first generation of Ventiva’s revolutionary Ionic Cooling Engine (ICE®) which is designed for the laptop market. Additionally, the expansion will increase the speed at which the company can continue to develop advanced solutions to address the limitations of thermal management issues found in conventional cooling technologies for other categories of electronic devices.

The type of tests includes validating various crucial factors like pressure and flow, silence, and frequency and electromagnetic interference immunity. Additionally, the lab also focuses on testing humidity and dust immunity and the in-system lifespan of products.
With its headquarters also in Fremont, Ventiva’s first facility sets a high standard in advanced thermal research and development. Its flagship ICE® technology, based on principles of electrohydrodynamic flow that intersects physics, engineering and fluid dynamics to move ionized air molecules within an electric field, is enabling high-performance devices to be more lightweight, silent and vibration-free.
