About The Role

Ventiva is shipping a platform, not a part. The Director, Product Line Management (PLM) role owns the product lifecycle from definition through end-of-life: the roadmap, the gates, the cost structure, and the discipline that turns a technology advantage into a repeatable product line. You own the MRD outright and drive the PRD with engineering as co-developer, with engineering signing feasibility. One document, one owner.

What You’ll Own

• The Ventiva product roadmap: definition, requirements, tradeoffs, and the business case behind each SKU.
• PLM gate cadence — concept, design, validation, qualification, MP — and the cross-functional discipline to hold it.
• BOM cost, landed cost, and margin structure across product families; the model that tells us whether a design win is a good one.
• Requirements translation between customer-facing commitments and engineering execution.
• Competitive and market intelligence feeding product definition.
• The single source of truth on what we build, when it ships, and what it costs.

What You Bring

• 8+ years product management in a technology company; hardware, semiconductor, component, or client compute systems experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ownership of a full PLM cycle with real gate authority, not roadmap decoration.
• Fluency in BOM economics, cost roll-up, and hardware margin structure.
• Experience defining products against OEM/ODM requirements and design-in cycles.
• Working knowledge of the software layer that sits above hardware — firmware, drivers, middleware — and how software turns silicon into a platform (think GPU plus CUDA).
• Ability to say no to engineering and to sales with the same evidence.
• BS in Engineering; MBA useful, not required.

This is a key role for Ventiva. Every commercial commitment we make runs through the Director, Product Line Management. It is the mechanism that keeps the roadmap honest and the promises we make to partners real.

Salary Range: $200,000 – $235,000
